Dr. Ricker

In 2022, Dr. Nicole Ricker was selected as an ECRA recipient. The award supported the purchase of DNA quantification and sequencing equipment for her lab, as well as a pilot study developed through connections formed during the LRIC mentorship program. This helped launch new research exploring antimicrobial resistance and alternatives to antibiotics in livestock systems.
