Optimal Stocking Density for Heavy Toms

High stocking densities have been found to impact the health, welfare and performance of tom turkeys. Researchers at the University of Saskatchewan are looking into optimal stocking density, and while an exact number has not yet been determined, results have shown that moderate densities are best for the birds.
